A Beautiful Family Session at Perry Farm Park in Bourbonnais

There is something special about photographing families at Perry Farm Park in Bourbonnais. Between the beautiful walking paths, open green spaces, and mature trees, it's one of my favorite locations for family photography in Kankakee County.

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing an absolutely adorable family during an evening session at Perry Farm. From the moment we started, the kids were full of energy, laughter, and personality. Rather than focusing on perfectly posed smiles, we spent our time exploring the park, playing games, and capturing genuine moments together.

Some of my favorite images from the session came from the simple interactions between family members. The hugs, giggles, hand holding, and playful moments often become the photographs families treasure most years later.

The soft evening light at Perry Farm provided the perfect backdrop, creating beautiful, natural portraits that truly reflect this family's connection and love for one another.

One of the things I love most about family photography is freezing these fleeting moments in time. Children grow so quickly, and photographs allow us to hold onto the little details that can otherwise fade with time.
