Proclamation Flowers is a family-owned flower farm just outside Wilmington, Illinois, offering an incredible backdrop for portraits from July through September. The farm features hundreds of varieties of seasonal flowers, winding grass paths, and beautiful open skies that seem to glow at sunset. The flower field is intentionally designed to feel like a garden rather than rows of commercial crops, making every direction you turn a beautiful place for photographs.
As a family photographer serving Manteno, Wilmington, Bourbonnais, Bradley, Frankfort, New Lenox, and the surrounding communities, it's one of my favorite locations every year.

Every visit feels different.
The flowers change throughout the season, which means no two sessions ever look exactly alike. One week the zinnias are exploding with color. A few weeks later, the dahlias become the stars. Sunflowers, cosmos, snapdragons, and so many other blooms create endless variety throughout the summer.
But what really makes this location special isn't just the flowers.
It's the light.
The mature trees surrounding the field soften the evening sun, creating beautiful, even lighting that flatters everyone. As the sun begins to set, the entire field glows with warm golden light that creates the timeless, emotional images families love.
